REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:

Be over 18 years of age and under 65.
Reside near one of the training sites: Playa del Carmen (Xcaret park), Cancun (Hotel Zone), Tulum (Xel-Há park), Cozumel (Casitas beach), or surrounding areas.
Complete the form on the official website: www.travesiasagrada.com.
Open water swimming skills (intermediate and advanced) are required. A 1,200-meter swim with a time limit will be required.
Download the medical form from the website and go to the nearest Red Cross office for a medical evaluation* with the cost of recovery benefiting said institution. Mention your participation in the Sacred Journey.
Be in good health.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

A selection process will be conducted for the swimming tests.
Only candidates who pass the swimming test will be able to register and participate in the training sessions which begin in November 2025.
Attendance at all training sessions is mandatory. If the candidate does not meet the minimum attendance percentage, they will be disqualified from the journey.
Registrations must be made in person and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Sacred Journey reserves the right to refuse admission.

LOCATIONS AND TRAINING PERIODS:

For the Xcaret and Xel-Há locations, training sessions will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

For the Cancun and Cozumel locations, training sessions will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Long paddling training sessions for all locations will be held at Xcaret park on weekends starting in February 2026.
